Job Description

Overview

The Foreman Installation Refrigeration role at CoolSys in Boise, Idaho, serves as the Technical Lead and Crew Chief for assigned projects in the HVAC and refrigeration industry. The Foreman is responsible for overseeing job performance, managing relationships with peers and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and project guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects
  • Report on job status and performance
  • Control job costs
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure use of PPE and application of safe behaviors
  • Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures
  • May oversee third-party resources

Required skills

  • High school diploma, GED, or trade program completion
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in computer tools including Email and Project Planning Software
  • Strong judgment and leadership skills
