Overview

Leader Electric, an established electrical contracting company in New York City since 2006, is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman. The role involves overseeing and managing a crew of electricians to ensure successful project completion within budget and on time, while fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee, plan, and manage a crew of up to 15 electricians
  • Organize and plan the project, including assessing material and manpower needs
  • Direct work, inspect installations for quality, and ensure compliance with code standards
  • Evaluate employee progress and motivate fast production
  • Train new team members and attend meetings
  • Identify conflicts and resolve problems
  • Document tool tracking, material orders, schedules, attendance, and reports
