Overview

The Food Support Associate at Six Flags Great Adventure plays a crucial role in supporting the Food Service department through ice production, delivery, and maintenance. This physically demanding position requires daily interaction with guests and team members, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote the park enthusiastically while supporting the Foods Department.
  • Maintain production and delivery of ice to food stands throughout the park.
  • Operate park vehicles and hand trucks for ice delivery.
  • Bag and lift ice, and operate lift equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Cooperate with team members and supervisors to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest concerns and respond to emergencies.
  • Complete tasks as requested by management.

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • Effective communication in English
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity and gross motor skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
