Overview

The Food Services Area Supervisor at Six Flags Great Adventure is responsible for leading and supporting stand supervisors in the daily operations of assigned food service locations. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with food quality and safety standards, company policies, and delivering exceptional customer service to guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of stand supervisors and associates
  • Assist in ongoing training and motivation for high quality customer service
  • Enforce food preparation and handling procedures
  • Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and safety
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and rotation of items
  • Foster cooperation among the management team
  • Troubleshoot staff, equipment, or customer service issues
  • Enhance guest experience through positive engagement
  • Address guest concerns with a solution-oriented approach
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of all units
  • Provide feedback and support to supervision and associates
  • Implement coaching and development plans
  • Evaluate associates and recommend promotions
  • Comply with all Six Flags policies

Required skills

  • Experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to pass ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Manager certifications
  • Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional and outgoing demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with POS System
