Job Description

Overview

SSP is seeking a Food Service Worker for the AM shift at the Pittsburgh Airport. The role involves preparing, serving, selling, and stocking food and beverages while ensuring a positive experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
  • Receive payment from customers and process change
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Perform general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
  • Return all items used during the shift to the proper place

Required skills

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to start work at 3:30 AM
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
  • Food handlers permit as required by law
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and POS systems
  • Capacity to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
