Overview

The Food Service Manager at Aramark is responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to meet customer needs at Southern Arkansas University. This role involves overseeing dining operations and ensuring safety, financial performance, and compliance while leading a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model
  • Ensure individual and team performance meets objectives
  • Plan and lead daily team briefings
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Complete and maintain P&L statements
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Implement operational excellence fundamentals
  • Lead the front of the house of the dining operation
  • Plan and coordinate food service activities

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
