Overview

The Food Service Manager at Aramark is responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to fulfill customer needs and tastes, overseeing dining operations in a corporate setting. This role involves managing a team to ensure smooth service and high-quality standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model
  • Reward and recognize employee performance
  • Plan and lead daily team briefings
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of P&L statements
  • Meet client and company financial targets
  • Follow operational excellence fundamentals and maintain food and labor initiatives
  • Supervise team regarding production, quality, and control
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
