Overview

The Food Service Attendant at Tim Hortons Victoria Airport is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a secure airport environment. This role involves processing orders, handling cash, and ensuring food safety standards while working within a team to deliver a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
  • Receive payment from customers and process change
  • Serve a variety of food items and beverages to guests
  • Follow recipes and practice portion control for food preparation
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Perform cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Six months experience in food service environment preferred
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
  • Food handlers permit as required by law
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to operate a POS system
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
