Job Description

Overview

Rock City Gardens is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Food & Beverage team as a Food Partner. This role focuses on delivering exceptional dining experiences while supporting daily food operations and upholding the organization's Culture of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers
  • Engage guests and promote menu items through up-selling
  • Prepare and serve food according to established standards
  • Operate the cash register and Point-of-Sale (POS) system
  • Follow health code, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and back-of-house areas
  • Ensure work areas are stocked, clean, and organized
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient operations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • Previous food service experience (preferred but not required)
  • Willingness to receive training and develop new skills
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handler Certification
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
