Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to support Alfred University in delivering a best-in-class campus dining experience. This dynamic role requires a strategic leader to enhance food quality, student experience, and operational excellence in a high-volume dining environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day dining operations across residential, retail, and catering services
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service
  • Lead, train, and develop frontline teams
  • Support menu execution and operational flow
  • Monitor labor, food cost, safety, and compliance metrics
  • Partner with campus clients to enhance satisfaction and support events
  • Drive student engagement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment
  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of staff

Required skills
