Overview

The Food & Nutrition Services Manager at Cox Monett Hospital is responsible for the leadership and management of retail and clinical operations within the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This role includes overseeing food production and ensuring high-quality service while implementing quality improvement initiatives and providing educational programs for various audiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Food and Nutrition Services operations
  • Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate food production and retail services
  • Oversight of clinical operations
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and provide educational programs for clients, students, employees, and community members

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Completion of an ACEND approved dietetic internship or coordinated undergraduate program
  • Previous supervisory and management experience preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow direction and work well in a team
  • Multitasking and flexibility
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Registered Dietitian with State Licensure
  • Maintains registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
