Overview

The Food and Hospitality Associate at Masonicare is responsible for supporting meal service under the direction of the Director of Dining Services. This position focuses on food preparation, serving meals to residents, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, emphasizing excellent customer service and sanitation practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and assemble food for service
  • Take food orders and serve meals to residents
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment and floors
  • Follow sanitation practices in accordance with industry standards
  • Participate in menu class and present information to residents
  • Complete preparatory and post-service tasks efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Remove garbage and organize storage areas
  • Attend mandatory education events and in-services
