Overview

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a permanent full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a highly-rated facility in Bethel, Alaska. The role involves providing patient care in a clinic and through travel to village clinics, where healthcare providers will serve patients in a family medicine setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full scope of practice in family medicine
  • Evaluate and treat moderately ill patients
  • Order and interpret lab and x-ray results with physician backup
  • Travel to village clinics for patient care
  • Work collaboratively with assigned nurse and other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise and mentor NP and PA students
  • Maintain computerized medical records

Required skills

  • Background and education as an NP or PA
  • Minimum of two years of experience
  • Experience with reading radiographs and dispensing medication
  • Alaska License and DEA license
  • Current on CME requirements
  • Computer skills for accessing medical records
  • Ability to work efficiently and with a strong work ethic
