Overview

JYSK Canada is looking for a Flow of Goods Coordinator for their buying team in Coquitlam, BC. This full-time position involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring vendor compliance to optimize product flow and availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute competitive logistic solutions while collaborating with customers and suppliers
  • Schedule and monitor shipments from facilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and system updates
  • Assist in data entry of orders, shipments, and transfers
  • Prepare and track distribution load-out reports and shipping documentation
  • Communicate with freight forwarders and manage import/export freight documents
  • Handle ocean import/export documentation and verify payment requirements
  • Track extra costs related to shipments and reconcile freight invoices
  • Analyze sales forecasts and manage product availability
  • Support the Buyer with stock checks and flyer planning

Required skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Advanced Excel skills including V-Look ups and Pivot Tables
  • Strong problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills
  • Category buying/ordering/forecasting experience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Teamwork and project coordination skills
