Overview

One Medical is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist, also known as a Flex Member Support Specialist, to enhance the patient experience by providing support in various offices. This role involves mastering human connection, ensuring a seamless in-office atmosphere, and addressing patient feedback while collaborating with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

  • Use C-I-CARE framework to engage with patients and ensure a positive in-office experience.
  • Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-ups.
  • Perform check-in/check-out and insurance verification tasks.
  • Contribute to team development by participating in team huddles and supporting office providers.
  • Master technology tools like Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and Electronic Medical Record System 1Life.
  • Maintain the look and feel of the office, including daily office upkeep and restocking supplies.

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer or patient-facing roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in diverse, feedback-driven teams.
  • Proficiency in computer technology and multiple software systems.
  • Ability to persist through change and handle challenges effectively.
