Overview

The Float Business Office Manager (BOM) at Ciena Health Care Management, Inc. will oversee the functioning of eleven skilled nursing facilities in Michigan. This role involves managing accounts receivable, handling billing and insurance queries, and providing support to families and guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the facility accounts receivable system
  • Record daily collections of cash receipts and deposit to appropriate accounts
  • Establish and maintain communication with patients and family members regarding payments
  • Generate timely billing of all payer classes for facility claims
  • Review Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid claims
  • Record deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust
  • Close Resident Trust accounts timely and complete bank reconciliation monthly
  • Process Medicaid applications
