Overview

C&K Industrial Services is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain their fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment in Cleveland, Ohio. This full-time position involves performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs to ensure the equipment is safe and operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on diesel trucks and trailers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems
  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet all safety and compliance standards
  • Identify issues and complete repairs
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs with supervisors
  • Support field operations with mobile repairs when needed
  • Assist mechanics at other company locations as needed to support fleet operations

Required skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck or equipment repair
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • CDL Class A or B preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and safety protocols
