Overview

The Fleet Maintenance Diesel Technician (B) at Republic Services will perform repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including various vehicle systems and components. This role involves working directly under supervision and contributes to maintaining a stable fleet with state-of-the-art equipment in a rewarding industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
  • Repair chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, and control systems.
  • Handle maintenance for hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, and light engine work.
  • Conduct road service and ensure equipment is operational.
  • Diagnose issues using electronic tools.
  • Complete company training programs and perform other job-related duties.
