Overview

Progressive Roofing is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent with experience in managing commercial roofing projects. The successful candidate will provide leadership, ensuring safety and productivity while overseeing the installation of roof systems and managing field staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise foremen for safe and efficient roof system installations
  • Oversee field staff and assist with crew leadership
  • Conduct daily safety audits and train staff in safety and work skills
  • Provide feedback to foremen and assist with performance management
  • Ensure production and quality goals are met
  • Manage materials, equipment, and deliveries
  • Monitor quality of installations and deliver customer service
  • Coordinate communication between office and job sites
  • Investigate incidents and review final paperwork for billing

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years in a commercial roofing environment
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
  • OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training
  • Familiarity with state and local building codes
  • Experience in estimating materials and determining roof types
  • Ability to read and interpret roofing plans and specifications
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Mathematical skills for measurements and estimations
