Overview

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Flagger in Hopewell, Virginia, to direct traffic flow around construction sites and other work zones. The role involves setting up traffic control devices and communicating with motorists to ensure safety for both workers and the public.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas.
  • Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
  • Maintain communication with team members using two-way radios.
  • Transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites using company vehicles.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Lift and move items over 50 pounds.
  • Wear proper safety equipment as required.

Required skills
