Attention to detail is critical for maintaining dimensional accuracy and ensuring materials align with specified angles, degrees, and radii. The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to quality craftsmanship and a proactive approach to problem-solving.If you are a dedicated professional with expertise in fabrication and assembly, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at NKC of America Inc.RESPONSIBILITIESWill have to set up and use machinery including a Brake Press, Drill Press, Hydraulic press, Arbor Press, Tapping tools, Portable Plasma, Cutting Torch, Welding machine, Shear, various types of Saws, some Pipe Bending equipment, and in some cases Roll Mill.Knowledge of welding symbols, understand welding terms and be able to weld according to specifications along with our quality control person and NKC standards for welding.Able to design and set up Jigs and Fixtures for Production.Responsible for making sure the Jig or Fixture will work properly and the end result of the part or frame being fabricated is correctly built according to the drawings.Make sure all dimensions are kept and all material is parallel, perpendicular, with angles, degrees, and radiuses according to drawings.Check all material provided including any Laser plate, machined items, etc. to make sure the material is correct along with quantities according to the drawing before tacking and welding anything together.Responsible for keeping a safe and clean working environmentCapable of reading blueprints and understanding work processes.EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GEDTechnical Training and Knowledge of Welding4+ years of Fitter experience with Machinery and Fabrication ToolsExperience in Manufacturing and Job ShopExperience with Conveyor SystemsMust be able to read BlueprintsSCHEDULE (DAY SHIFT)Monday-Thursday 6:00AM 4:30PM, Friday 6:00AM-3:30PMCompany DescriptionNKC of America designs manufactures and installs conveyor systems for the automotive industry.Company DescriptionNKC of America designs manufactures and installs conveyor systems for the automotive industry.
