Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist in West Palm Beach, FL, to provide group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community. This part-time role offers opportunities for growth, and you'll work closely with a therapy team to deliver evidence-based wellness programs focused on healthy aging and fall prevention.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead group classes and one-on-one personal training sessions for older adults
  • Grow the wellness program and increase resident participation
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists
  • Educate residents and families about wellness programming
  • Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand service areas

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology, or Certified Personal Trainer certification
  • Experience or strong interest in working with older adults
  • Ability to effectively communicate wellness benefits
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
