Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training tailored for older adults in a Senior Living Community in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This part-time position involves delivering evidence-based fitness programs, fostering engagement among residents, and collaborating with therapists to enhance wellness and fall prevention strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver group classes and personal training for older adults
  • Grow the wellness program and client base through relationship building
  • Collaborate with FOX therapists to enhance patient referrals
  • Educate residents and families about wellness programming
  • Travel to patient residences for training sessions as needed

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; or Certified Personal Trainer
  • Experience working with older adults in a wellness-focused environment
  • Strong communication skills for educating clients
  • CPR certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills for documentation
  • Ability to travel between locations
