Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults in a Senior Living Community in Fishers, Indiana. This part-time role involves growing a wellness program, collaborating with a therapy team, and educating residents about the benefits of fitness programming.

Key responsibilities

  • Grow the wellness program and increase group class participation
  • Build a 1:1 and partner training client base
  • Collaborate with FOX therapy team members
  • Educate residents and families on wellness programming benefits
  • Travel to patient residences for house call sessions
  • Expand into additional communities as territory grows

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; or Certified Personal Trainer
  • Experience with older adults
  • Capabilities in presenting and educating on wellness benefits
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
