Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults in a Senior Living Community located in Fair Oaks, CA. This part-time role is geared toward individuals passionate about senior wellness, fall prevention, and functional fitness, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead group exercise classes and personal training for older adults
  • Grow the wellness program and drive resident engagement
  • Collaborate with therapy teams to support client transitions
  • Educate residents and families on wellness program benefits
  • Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand service coverage

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; or Certified Personal Trainer certification
  • Experience working with older adults in a wellness-focused setting
  • Strong communication skills for presenting and educating on wellness programs
  • Willingness to travel between locations
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
