Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist for a part-time role in Cranberry Township, PA, focused on enhancing wellness programming for older adults in a Senior Living Community. Ideal candidates are personal trainers or fitness professionals who are passionate about healthy aging, fall prevention, and functional fitness.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead group exercise and personal training sessions for older adults
  • Grow the wellness program and increase group class participation
  • Build a client base for one-on-one and partner training
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists
  • Educate residents and their families about wellness program benefits
  • Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand service areas

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology, or equivalent certification
  • Experience or strong interest in working with older adults
  • Comfortable presenting wellness benefits to residents and families
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills for documentation
  • Ability to travel between locations
