Overview

TriHealth is seeking a Fitness Group Instructor, with an immediate need for a Pilates Reformer instructor, to join their team at various locations in Cincinnati. This role is focused on leading safe and effective group fitness classes, fostering a motivating environment for individuals of all fitness levels.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and motivation during group fitness classes
  • Educate and monitor class participants on proper exercises and movements
  • Communicate regularly with supervisory staff
  • Attend continuing education workshops to stay current in the health and fitness industry
  • Demonstrate correct components of fitness classes
  • Use appropriate choreography and teaching strategies for diverse fitness levels
  • Complete all annual job requirements on time

Required skills

  • Certification in Group Fitness
  • Experience in various fitness styles including Zumba, Yoga, Pilates (Mat and Reformer), Barre, Spinning, Martial Arts, T
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Ability to provide appropriate feedback and modifications to participants
