Overview

Building Team Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Systems Alarm Service Manager to lead their service division in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on managing service operations, enhancing efficiency, and fostering strong customer relationships within the commercial fire protection industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop service technicians and administrative staff
  • Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling and dispatching
  • Ensure efficient routing and on-time service delivery
  • Monitor job costing, productivity, and operational performance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and service issues
  • Identify opportunities for repair and upgrade work from inspections
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
  • Manage departmental P&L and assist in budgeting and forecasting

Required skills

  • Experience as a Service Manager in fire sprinkler or fire alarm companies
  • Background in commercial fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards, particularly NFPA 25
  • Leadership experience managing technicians and service operations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with service management and scheduling software
