Overview

Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to join their team in Norcross, Georgia. This role focuses on servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems while delivering high-quality customer service. FSP is committed to employee development and values the skills of military veterans in contributing to their mission of fire and life safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler suppression systems
  • Service and repair wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems
  • Perform flow testing of fire hydrants
  • Interact with customers professionally
  • Complete thorough documentation such as work orders and maintenance records
  • Follow safety practices and operational codes
  • Diagnose and repair deficiencies in fire protection systems
  • Work independently and within a team, as needed

Required skills

  • 3+ years of independent field experience
  • Experience with fire protection systems and components
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Mechanical inclination and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work safely with tools and equipment
