Overview

Anderson Dahlen is seeking finishers to perform a variety of metal finishing operations including grinding, polishing, and quality control on manufactured parts and assemblies. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of precision fabrication required for the company's comprehensive design-build and manufacturing services.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform rough grinding, polishing, and metal finishing operations on components and assemblies
  • Follow all safe work practices and OSHA requirements
  • Use hand tools and power tools for metal surface finishing
  • Examine metal surfaces for defects and imperfections
  • Set up and operate various finishing equipment
  • Select appropriate abrasives and finishing methods
  • Read and apply blueprints and work instructions
  • Monitor and maintain quality of finished goods
  • Develop and improve finishing processes
  • Train and mentor other finishers
