Overview

Gordon Feinblatt's Financial Services Practice Group is seeking an experienced financial services attorney with at least eight years of experience in regulatory compliance and financial transactions. The role involves advising clients, including financial institutions and fintechs, on a variety of matters related to regulatory compliance, business transactions, and contract negotiation.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Assist with Maryland licensing issues for financial institutions
  • Develop new loan and deposit products, including disclosures and permissible fees
  • Document commercial loan transactions and support financial institution mergers
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm
  • Provide strategic legal advice to financial institutions and fintechs
  • Serve as outside general counsel for financial institutions
  • Expand the practice by adding new clients over time

Required skills

  • Experience in regulatory compliance
  • Expertise in consumer and commercial loan transactions
  • Contract negotiation and drafting skills
