Overview

At Larson Financial Group, LLC, the Financial Planner role involves working closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals through personalized wealth management services. This position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional client service while collaborating with internal teams in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare for and lead client meetings
  • Collect and organize client data to build financial plans
  • Construct insurance illustrations and financial scenarios
  • Communicate investment recommendations with the advisory team
  • Track planning process milestones and follow up on action items
  • Deliver proactive, high-quality service to retain top clients
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM and financial planning software
  • Create thoughtful client 'touches' to cultivate referrals
  • Manage onboarding and ongoing client service processes
  • Resolve client inquiries and provide trusted support

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning or a related field
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required
  • CFP designation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with the insurance and financial services industry
  • Experience using Salesforce and financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
