Fisher Investments is seeking an Investment Counselor in Tampa, Florida, to manage a roster of high-net-worth clients. This role emphasizes relationship building and client education without the pressure of sales commissions, aligning the counselor's goals with those of the clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with clients and educate them on investment strategies
  • Proactively connect with clients quarterly to review asset allocations and financial goals
  • Collaborate with internal portfolio decision-makers and research teams
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients through partnership with the sales team
  • Report to group manager for personalized career development

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in client relationship management within the finance industry
  • Series 65 certification (assistance provided to obtain)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Consultative selling approach with a strong client focus
