Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking a Financial Counselor to service high-net-worth clients in Canada while based in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on building trusting relationships with clients, educating them on investment strategies, and ensuring alignment with their long-term financial goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting and professional relationships with Canadian clients.
  • Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review asset allocation.
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategy, investments, market events, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to build a roster of clients.

Required skills

  • CFA (passed any level)
  • Series 65 (support provided for obtaining)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management and client relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
