Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking a CFA Level 1 holder to join as an International Investment Counsellor, servicing high-net-worth clients in Canada from the United States. This role emphasizes client relationship building and portfolio management, without traditional sales pressure, as the firm operates on a fee-only fiduciary model.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with Canadian clients to build trusting, professional relationships
  • Connect proactively with clients quarterly to review asset allocation
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategy, investments, and market events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide top-tier client service
  • Build a roster of high-net-worth clients with support from the sales team

Required skills

  • CFA Level 1 or higher
  • 4+ years of portfolio management experience
  • Client relationship management expertise
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Understanding of asset allocation and investment strategies
