Overview

Olymel is seeking a Financial Business Partner to join their team in Burlington, Ontario. This role focuses on aligning operational and financial goals to enhance performance across the sector, emphasizing collaboration with plant teams and supporting decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor operational performance, including profitability and KPI tracking
  • Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with plant directors and cross-functional teams to align goals and ensure execution
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis with financial partners
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and promote a culture of innovation

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration (Finance or Accounting)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with an ERP system (SAP is an asset)
  • Leadership and ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Analytical mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, curiosity, and adaptability
