Overview

Vista Higher Learning is seeking a Financial Analyst with FP&A expertise to analyze financial data and provide insights that drive business growth. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals through effective budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Support strategic planning and investment decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Develop and refine budgets and long-term financial plans
  • Evaluate financial implications of business initiatives and provide variance analysis
  • Prepare financial presentations and dashboards for senior management
  • Gather and interpret complex financial data to identify trends
  • Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals
  • Lead small to mid-sized projects with minimal oversight

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate Financial Analyst or FP&A role
  • Proficient in financial reporting and analysis
  • Skilled in preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Experience in building financial models and conducting scenario analyses
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
  • Ability to conduct variance analysis and develop budgets
  • Proficient in financial and accounting platforms
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and charting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
