Overview

Horace Mann is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join their BCG Securities team in Marlton, New Jersey. This hybrid position emphasizes a relationship-driven approach and offers support for advisors aiming to grow their practice through meaningful client interactions and a collaborative operational environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial plans for clients based on their goals and financial circumstances
  • Provide investment recommendations and portfolio guidance consistent with client objectives
  • Deliver ongoing client service, including reviews, plan updates, and portfolio recommendations
  • Discuss insurance and annuity solutions as part of the planning process
  • Support retirement plan relationships and employer-sponsored opportunities
  • Engage in broader planning conversations including financial planning and wealth management
  • Build and manage strong client relationships through effective communication and service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance advisor and client experiences

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Advisor
  • Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, or Series 7 with Series 65/63
  • Life and Health insurance licenses preferred
  • Experience with retirement plans and employer-sponsored plans preferred
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance
