Overview

Aramark Healthcare is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. This role involves preparing financial and operating reports, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating with operators to enhance performance while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to improve margins
  • Create annual forecasts/budgets by venue and generate financial reports
  • Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures
  • Conduct audits and ensure contract compliance including SOX regulations
  • Maintain financial records and reports in adherence with policies and regulations
  • Train finance and operations teams on financial acumen and policies
  • Assist with operational support as needed
  • Develop proformas for new business opportunities

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of progressive financial experience
  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable and payroll management
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong teamwork skills in budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
