Job Description

Overview

The University of Mount Olive is seeking a full-time Finance Faculty member to support its business core by teaching finance courses in both traditional and online formats. The role includes teaching undergraduate and graduate MBA courses while contributing to the department and university's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach a combination of undergraduate and graduate MBA courses in finance
  • Deliver five courses in fall and spring semesters respectively
  • Contribute to the department, school, and university
  • Engage in research and apply teaching methodology
  • Utilize data analytics and problem-solving skills in finance areas

Required skills

  • Master of Finance or other Master's degree with 18 hours in finance
  • Ph.D. or DBA in finance or related field (preferred)
  • Industry/professional experience (strongly preferred)
  • Teaching and curriculum development experience
  • Certification in finance
  • Data analytics capabilities
  • Problem-solving skills
