Overview

The Finance Coordinator at Accelerated Urgent Care will manage various financial processes under the supervision of the Director of Finance. Key responsibilities include handling accounts payable, managing clinic expenses, and ensuring timely execution of financial tasks within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect and enter vendor invoices into the accounts payable system.
  • Review and monitor expenses for accuracy.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve disputes or variances.
  • Coordinate clinic expense management reviews.
  • Support cost control initiatives among departments.
  • Review monthly financial reports for accuracy.
  • Assist with manual check requests for payroll.
  • Meet regularly with the Director of Finance to discuss tasks and barriers.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, and expense management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Accounting or Finance coursework or degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of financial duties in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Customer service skills and professional etiquette
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
