Overview

The Finance Analyst position at Ford Motor Company offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Finance Team that leverages data to influence corporate goals. The role involves supporting finance, accounting, and operational management through robust financial analysis and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders including accounting, finance, operations, engineering, legal, and IT.
  • Support critical financial deliverables such as daily operational reporting and monthly close processes.
  • Develop and refine physical-based forecasts for strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide real-time key performance measures to operations on a regular basis.
  • Assist in developing the Annual Budget and Multi-Year Business Plan.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Utilize advanced financial models and analytical tools to enhance cost efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional business processes and validate with new business systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, especially advanced Excel
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and budgeting
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple functions
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills
