Overview

Bicycle Transit Systems Inc is seeking a Seasonal Field Technician for their Nashville location. This part-time role involves maintaining and operating electric bike systems while providing excellent customer service. The technician will represent BCycle in the field, ensuring bikes and stations are functional and clean.

Key responsibilities

  • Swap electric bike batteries
  • Balance the bike system by moving e-bikes around
  • Provide customer service and answer questions from the public
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles
  • Conduct in-field inspections and basic repairs on bikes
  • Maintain bike stations through troubleshooting and cleaning
  • Install and remove bike stations
  • Prepare e-bikes for events and assist with set-up and teardown

Required skills

  • Clean driving record
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Small team collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with bike share systems is a plus
