Overview

The Field Technician II at Park Energy Services is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of various types of natural gas compressors in Wheeler, Texas. The role includes monitoring equipment performance, conducting repairs, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely set, maintain, repair and operate natural gas compressors
  • Read gas meters and record operational data
  • Monitor equipment indicators to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform start-up procedures for units on location
  • Maintain and manage repair parts for assigned units
  • Assist with engine and compressor overhauls
  • Use hand tools for maintenance tasks
  • Utilize electronic devices for troubleshooting and testing
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
  • Respond to unscheduled service calls on a call-out rotation
  • Submit maintenance reports and necessary paperwork
