Overview

The Field Technician II at Park Energy Services will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of various natural gas compressors. This role involves monitoring equipment performance, conducting troubleshooting, and documenting operational changes.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely set, maintain, repair, and operate natural gas compressors
  • Read gas meters and record data on gas consumption
  • Monitor equipment performance using gauges and indicators
  • Perform start-up procedures and maintain repair parts for assigned units
  • Assist with engine and compressor overhauls
  • Use hand tools for cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments
  • Troubleshoot and test equipment using electronic devices
  • Respond to unscheduled service calls and participate in call-out rotation
  • Submit accurate maintenance reports and documentation

Required skills

  • Knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters
  • Understanding of electrical systems and fuel systems
  • Experience with lubrication systems and ignition systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • 2+ years of mechanical experience
  • Familiarity with modern engines and compressors in the natural gas industry
