The primary focus of this role is to review and trace pavement images from airfields to help train a machine-learning tool designed to optimize long-term maintenance planning.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data entry habits and an interest in aviation, drones, or GIS mapping to gain hands-on experience in both an office and a field setting.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Image Analysis & Data Labeling: Review high-resolution imagery to identify and trace visible pavement cracks using proprietary division guidance. Data Management: Organize completed image files, maintain detailed tracking logs, and flag unclear imagery or data discrepancies for staff review. Quality Control: Participate in the quality control process of completed data tracing to ensure accuracy for machine-learning ingestion. Field Drone Support: Act as a visual observer during field drone flights, monitoring the aircraft, surrounding airspace, ground vehicles, and general activity to ensure compliance and safety. Administrative Support: Assist with spreadsheet updates, document scanning, file renaming, and overall data entry.Job Requirements & Environment Work Environment: Mostly computer-based office/homework. Fieldwork occurs occasionally at operational facilities and will involve walking, standing, and exposure to outdoor elements (heat, sun, wind) near active machinery. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (7.5 hours/day).
