Role Description The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Pewaukee, WI. This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing Bronco blast cleaning equipment at customer locations and in the shop as needed. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, and verifying safe, reliable operation of machines. The technician will interpret technical drawings and manuals, document service activities, maintain tools and service vehicles, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding findings and recommendations. The role may require occasional overnight travel to customer sites, adherence to safety standards, and support for training customers on proper equipment use and maintenance. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial machinery, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Basic electrical and controls knowledge, such as reading wiring diagrams, working with motors, sensors, and control panels. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and parts lists. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for identifying root causes of mechanical and electrical issues. Customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism on-site, and the ability to explain technical information in accessible terms. Comfort working in industrial environments, following safety procedures, and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or related fields is preferred. Prior experience as a field service technician, maintenance mechanic, or similar role in manufacturing or heavy equipment is beneficial.
