Overview

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Field Service Representative I to join their team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves the direct implementation of customer-required on-site field services related to activated carbon products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction through proper training and operational support.

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule and document daily on-site activities using FSWO database
  • Conduct carbon adsorption equipment start-up and customer training on proper use
  • Perform carbon and other media removal and installation
  • Install and remove carbon adsorption equipment
  • Conduct maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Confined Space Certification (to be completed within 3 months of hire)
  • Valid Driver's License (Class A preferred)
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (to be completed within 3 months of hire)
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (to be obtained within 3 months of hire)
  • 2-3 years of mechanical aptitude and experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Preferred experience in the carbon treatment industry or a related field
