Overview

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Field Service Representative I to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role involves providing on-site field services related to activated carbon products, ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and training.

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule and document daily on-site activities using FSWO database
  • Perform start-up and customer training on carbon adsorption equipment
  • Install and remove carbon and other media
  • Conduct maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of carbon adsorption equipment

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Confined Space Certification (to be completed within 3 months of hire)
  • Driver's License (Class A preferred)
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (to be completed within 3 months of hire)
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (to be obtained within 3 months of hire)
  • 2-3 years of mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in troubleshooting
  • Experience in the carbon treatment industry or related field (preferred)
