Overview

ElectriCom Inc is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to join their team in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The role involves providing maintenance and repair services for utility construction equipment, both in the shop and in the field, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork within the company's family-focused culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on utility construction equipment, including passenger trucks, directional drills, cable plows, and excavators.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to assess equipment condition.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issues.
  • Replace components and complete repairs to ensure proper equipment functioning.
  • Document all service, repair, and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Complete required training assignments as scheduled.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Trade school graduate in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
  • Ability to manage daily activity reports electronically.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with safety rules, operating instructions, and service/parts manuals in English.
